Hey all (This is also a note to A-Wei Chung)
I'm trying to install PHP 4 beta 3 under Windows 95 (I know it's silly, but
my Linux machine is down for the moment, and I also have to make sure, that
my scripts run perfect on a Windows machine)
* First I need to install a web server on my machine (I've chose "OmniHTTPd
Professional 2.04" because I was told that it was good together with PHP -
get it at www.tucows.com)
* Second I placed the binary PHP 4 beta 3 code in "c:\php4beta\"
* Then I started "OmniHTTPd Professional" and looked at the settings, but
now comes the problem... where do I set up PHP???
In the PHP readme.txt there is a note on how to install PHP 4 beta 3 under
IIS 4.0. Here it says, that you have to make a new "ISAPI Filter" - I looked
for the word "ISAPI" in the "OmniHTTPd Professional" configuration, and
found something called "ISAPI Extension" under "Default Virtual
Settings...", but I kind of got the feeling, that I have to set something up
under "Web Server Global Settings" - maybe something with "External" or
"MIME"
- How do I do it? Please help!
Best regards
