Problem1:
I am attempting to install PHP4 beta 3 on a Red Hat 6.0 box, kernel 2.2.9, egcs-2.91.66, glibc
2.1.1, 64 MB RAM.
My do-conf contains:
./configure --with-apache=/usr/local/etc/httpd --with-gd=no --with-sybase-ct=/opt/sybase
--enable-debug=no --with-exec-dir=/home/httpd --enable-track-vars=yes --enable-magic-quotes=yes
--enable-force-cgi-redirect=yes --enable-discard-path=yes --enable-memory-limit=yes
My make is aborting with the following errors:
In main.c, line 864, function php_module_startup, 'block_alarms' is undeclared; in main.c,
line 865, function php_module_startup, 'unblock_alarms' is undeclared.
Problem 2:
I received a 'virtual memory exhausted' message when running the make on a PC with the
same configuration except for 32 MB RAM. Is this normal?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
