I have recompiled libzend with the most recent CVS and
--disable-debug. Attached are the timings to the scripts I posted
recently:
P1: 1024 classes, 1 function per class.
P2: 1 class, 1024 functions.
P3: 1024 scalar assignments in a row
P4: 1024 functions with a static variable in each
P5: 1024 functions without a static.
Script sizes (perl generated) are:
