Yeah, it's reasonable. I've noticed zlib pretty much copies all php3_ini values into its own structure that it uses, but haven't checked into it much further. I didn't try to compile zlib (and thus I didn't fix it), but fixing it should mostly involve replacing php3_ini.foo with PG(foo), #including php_globals.h, and possibly some more work. I'll try to compile it later tonight.
