Hey again,
Well from everybodies help I was able to compile PHP4 and apache on our cobalt MIPS.
It compiled ok with --disable-inline.
Only problem was that it corrupted the cobalts virtual host management stuff and we
had to copy an old httpd.conf file with the old virtual hosts settings. Now it seems
to working ok (and really fast) for all of our PHP3 sites and new php4 sites.
So, if anyone is also trying to do it on a cobalt make sure you make a backup BEFORE
of your httpd.conf.
