PHP3 seems to be very accurate about reporting which line number and in
which file and error occurred. PHP 4 seems to get confused when files have
been 'required' by the main script.
For example I get the following message:
Warning: MySQL Connection Failed: Access denied for user: 'phil@localhost'
(Using password: YES) in config.php on line 101
when the file config.php is only 10 lines long. The file config.php was
required by a file which was required by the main script executing, and the
error actually occurred on line 174 of the main script.
Have I failed to set my system up correctly (php4.0b3 on NT) or is this a
bug?
Cheers
