I agreed Patric, Like I read in PHPBuilder mailing list, the book new book is Professional PHP. They said the other book is look like PHP manual. It is a great book. do you have to wait for the best book. PHP is going to version 4. Thera are million progammers are studying PHP including me. There are a lot of statement without sample. I have to be surf in the web to find out what kind of animal it is. And thanks to the sites around the world to give the sample. I have the PHP Core book, I said the book is not enough. I think the php manual is have to be more sample, to make php can be rapidly adopt by every progammer. and the book is have to be more case study. I think it is a competitive advantage to make php become the best in embbed HTML. I never touch the ASP again because I belive PHP will be the winner in the competition between PHP with ASP and JSP. Esp the gateway between PHP with COM and Java. Let see, the ASP 3.0 / with Interdev, you can get the book in Microsoft Press very rapid. If you want me to contribute, I glad to help...
