I discovered an oddity in the session->MySQL thingie (or if it is in
session_set_save_handler).
I need to do something like this, before I start the "real" session:
require("session.php");
session_start();
session_register("dummy");
$dummy=0;
$dummy++;
This lets the 'write' handler have some time to initialize whatever is going
in to the db.
If I remove the above, nothing works.
It's all very unstable, so I wouldn't suggest using it in it's current form
in any production type environment.
Anyway, the script I used is attached.
Have fun.
