Hello, I'm trying to compile php4 beta 3 as a CGI to use it as a standalone scripting language (the apache module compile is ok). So I just use : ./configure --with-mysql make And at the end (I think) of the build process I get these errors : make[2]: Entering directory `/users/desrefa/php-4.0b3' /bin/sh ./libtool --silent --mode=compile gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I. -I./libzend -I. -I./libzend -I/usr/local/include/mysql -g -O2 -g -O2 -c -o internal_functions.lo internal_functions.c /bin/sh ./libtool --silent --mode=link gcc -g -O2 -g -O2 -o libphp4.la -rpath /users/desrefa/php-4.0b3/libs -R /usr/local/lib/mysql main.lo internal_functions.lo snprintf.lo php3_sprintf.lo configuration-parser.lo configuration-scanner.lo request_info.lo safe_mode.lo fopen-wrappers.lo php3_realpath.lo alloca.lo php_ini.lo SAPI.lo rfc1867.lo dlist.lo php_content_types.lo strlcpy.lo strlcat.lo mergesort.lo libzend/libzend.la sapi/cgi/libphpsapi_cgi.la regex/libregex.la ext/db/libphpext_db.la ext/gd/libphpext_gd.la ext/mysql/libphpext_mysq²l.la ext/pcre/libphpext_pcre.la ext/session/libphpext_session.la ext/standard/libphpext_standard.la -ldl -lgd -lm -lresolv -lnsl -lcrypt -lgdbm -lttf -L/usr/local/lib/mysql -lmysqlclient -lpam /bin/sh ./libtool --silent --mode=link gcc -g -O2 -g -O2 -o php -export-dynamic stub.o libphp4.la .libs/libphp4.a(cgi_main.o): In function `main': /users/desrefa/php-4.0b3/sapi/cgi/cgi_main.c:436: undefined reference to `php3_fopen_for_parser' .libs/libphp4.a(basic_functions.lo): In function `php3_getenv': /users/desrefa/php-4.0b3/ext/standard/basic_functions.c:448: undefined reference to `ap_table_get' .libs/libphp4.a(basic_functions.lo): In function `php3_flush': /users/desrefa/php-4.0b3/ext/standard/basic_functions.c:602: undefined reference to `ap_rflush' .libs/libphp4.a(exec.lo): In function `_Exec': /users/desrefa/php-4.0b3/ext/standard/exec.c:153: undefined reference to `ap_rflush' .libs/libphp4.a(main.o): In function `php3_log_err': /users/desrefa/php-4.0b3/main.c:321: undefined reference to `ap_log_error' .libs/libphp4.a(main.o): In function `php3_set_timeout': /users/desrefa/php-4.0b3/main.c:523: undefined reference to `ap_signal' .libs/libphp4.a(main.o): In function `php_request_startup': /users/desrefa/php-4.0b3/main.c:697: undefined reference to `ap_block_alarms' /users/desrefa/php-4.0b3/main.c:698: undefined reference to `ap_register_cleanup' /users/desrefa/php-4.0b3/main.c:699: undefined reference to `ap_unblock_alarms' .libs/libphp4.a(main.o): In function `php_module_startup': /users/desrefa/php-4.0b3/main.c:864: undefined reference to `ap_block_alarms' /users/desrefa/php-4.0b3/main.c:865: undefined reference to `ap_unblock_alarms' .libs/libphp4.a(php_mysql.lo): In function `_close_mysql_link': /users/desrefa/php-4.0b3/ext/mysql/php_mysql.c:199: undefined reference to `ap_signal' /users/desrefa/php-4.0b3/ext/mysql/php_mysql.c:205: undefined reference to `ap_signal' .libs/libphp4.a(php_mysql.lo): In function `_close_mysql_plink': /users/desrefa/php-4.0b3/ext/mysql/php_mysql.c:220: undefined reference to `ap_signal' /users/desrefa/php-4.0b3/ext/mysql/php_mysql.c:226: undefined reference to `ap_signal' .libs/libphp4.a(php_mysql.lo): In function `php_mysql_do_connect': /users/desrefa/php-4.0b3/ext/mysql/php_mysql.c:505: undefined reference to `ap_signal' .libs/libphp4.a(php_mysql.lo):/users/desrefa/php-4.0b3/ext/mysql/php_mysql.c:514: more undefined references to `ap_signal' follow collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make[2]: *** [php] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/users/desrefa/php-4.0b3' make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/users/desrefa/php-4.0b3' make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2 Aren't the ap_* functions Apache spécific ?
