going one step further ;-)
next error:
G:\Users\AndreasO\projects\p\php_source\cvs\php4\sapi\cgi\cgi_main.c(136) :
error C2143: syntax error : missing ':' before ')'
vc++ says the error must be somewhere here:
/* Build the special-case PHP_SELF variable for the CGI version */
#if FORCE_CGI_REDIRECT
php_register_variable("PHP_SELF", (SG(request_info).request_uri ?
SG(request_info).request_uri, track_vars_array ELS_CC PLS_CC);
#else
one solution would be to turn off FORCE_CGI_REDIRECT, which would probably open
a security hole on the web server. the other solution would be trying to
understand what needs to be changed to make it work.
since my knowledge of c is about nearly nothing i have to use the first solution
for the moment i guess.
