Hello, my name is Evangelina, I´m an art director and I work wtih a PHP programmer. I was wondering if you´d like me to redesign the PHP logo for free because it´s terrible and I´d be glad to do it.

Hi, I agree that the logo looks like from the previous decade, hoverer changing it is a bit risky. It is recognisable by millions and we don't want to confuse people. It has been already used in publications, books, web pages. Maybe in the feature in relation to a special event like releasing new PHP6 we could introduce new logo, but now, I don't think it is a good idea. But if you have good design skills and want to contribute there might be work for you, we are working on a new design of php.net. I mean a friend of mine started working on the generic design that we are going to present here on the mailing list as a new suggestion. I'm sure there will be something you could help with afterwards. Wojak
