I manually checked all active mirrors on 07-NOV-2010 and they worked as expected. Today, you're correct: it's not working as it should. Tested from multiple ISPs (netvision 013, bezeqint 014, golden lines 012) Sometimes, requests even time out. In most cases, they are 10+ seconds. Rarely responses come normally. In general, it is MUCH faster surfing over us.php.net mirror now than il2 from israel. Tested now accessing "php.net" without mirror specified, (attempted to access http://php.net/ini_set ) and php.net stayed showing results directly, without redirect to israeli mirror.
