BTW, does anyone know what's the status of the run-tests.php rewrite? I
remember two years ago or so there was a rewrite going on, which included
support for parallel execution.
The new server has 8 cores, so we really need parallel execution.. (my
old
patch should be able to do it, but if there's something ready I wouldn't
need to bring it up-to-date).

I checked repository a few months ago and it seems application was close to
completion (some features only used in one or two tests were not running
correctly). However, usage was not so easy (but nothing that cannot be
improve).

If it's not ready, I'm not going to deploy it; I'd rather hack a quick patch to make run-tests.php parallel.
