I've downloaded the latest php release candidate (5.2.6RC1) and I've made 'make test'. I've encountered few problems, this is why I send this mail. *First*, I've try 5 (or more) 'make test' and zero was received in php newsgroup (cf http://news.php.net/php.qa.reports/). Plus, there is so few recent test results even if there is a release candidate (http://news.php.net/php.internals/35833) So, I've just change a bit run-tests.php to see what happen when it try to submit the test result. run-tests.php sends : POST /buildtest-process.php?status=failed&version=5.2.6RC1 HTTP/1.1 Host: qa.php.net User-Agent: QA Browser 0.1 Content-Type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded Content-Length: 45752 php_test_data=[ too long base64 encoded string ] And the qa.php.net server answers : HTTP/1.1 400 Bad Request Date: Sun, 02 Mar 2008 22:06:54 GMT Server: Apache/1.3.37 (Unix) PHP/5.2.4-dev Connection: close Transfer-Encoding: chunked Content-Type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1 1a7 <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <TITLE>400 Bad Request</TITLE> </HEAD><BODY> <H1>Bad Request</H1> Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.<P> Request header field is missing colon separator.<P> <PRE> POST /buildtest-process.php?status=failed&amp;version=5.2.6RC1 HTTP/1.1</PRE> <P> <HR> <ADDRESS>Apache/1.3.37 Server at cvs.php.net Port 80</ADDRESS> </BODY></HTML> 0 I've tested 2 times and the server sends 2 times a 400 bad request error. I think it's strange. I may be wrong but I suppose it is a server problem. *Secondly*, I want to submit few corrections of phpt files to prevent bug reports when there is no bug. - In ext/standard/tests/array/bug43505.phpt, after line 4 it needs those 2 lines : --SKIP-- <?php if (!extension_loaded("SPL")) die("skip no SPL, no Countable interface") ?> or after line 6 it needs something like this : if (!interface_exists("Countable", false)) { interface Countable { public function count(); } } - In ext/mysqli/tests/bug42548.phpt, the line 4 should be : <?php require_once('skipif.inc'); ?> To check whether the extension is loaded or not _and if it can connect to mysql or not_ Hope that helps. -Mazzu
