Hello, my name is Thomas Feldtmose.
I and another UConn student have developed a website called
SymbolHound as a tool for programmers. SymbolHound is a search engine
that doesn't ignore special characters, like Google and most other
search engines do. For example: try searching for "C++ >>" on Google
to see what we mean: the ">>" part is ignored! On SymbolHound,
information about the >> operator in C++ (the bitwise operator) is on
the first page of results.
It is recently launched, and the index will grow substantially in the
next few weeks, but we were hoping that some experienced programmers
could take a look at it and provide their feedback so that we can
improve.
php.net is being indexed within the next few days, and we'd especially
like to hear from you since users will be likely to use SymbolHound to
find your site!
Thanks in advance for any help, we appreciate it!
Sincerely,
Thomas Feldtmose and David Crane
