Problems using PHP regarding the amount of memory I can use

Dear webmasters for the php language. I recently developed a system that uses PHP language.
Nevertheless, as soon as I utilize a certain amunt of data the system will utilize I keep receiving
error messages regarding the amount of RAM memory utilized.
Can anybody help me if PHP can see AND USE amount of memory compatible with 64 bits standards? Right
now I have about 6GB of free memory and the system stops as soon as about 2GB are being used.
Is there any way to make PHP use all the available memory?
