It's important to put PEAR and PECL on our homepage as they're the
most active parts of the site apart from the manual. We're also
encouraging people to use PECL/PEAR code instead of rolling their own.
I'd like to see a twitter feed of latest updates from pecl on the
homepage somewhere too, I don't believe PEAR is as active (correct me
if i'm wrong) so i don't feel it's necessary to be showing any tweets
on that.
