I hacked in a custom google search widget so users won't totally lose
their minds while searching but it's far from ideal as is. I'm not sure
how to pass data into this widget but it has nice search options overall.
The next step is to either:
- Drive down to Microsoft HQ and beg
- Improve the google CSE
- Create custom search with solr or whatever
- Something else
A custom search would probably work best but it involves real work and
server resources. And it'd at least give us a good reason to better
research what users are searching for.
