I'd be awesome if you could help us out there!
We are in desperate need of guys who are willing to write few lines of
code to demonstrate how functions work, and a basic "how to use this
extension" example snippets for each and every extension in the
manual.
The process if fairly easy. All the documentations are based on
DocBook XML and are available in our CVS (see http://php.net/anoncvs,
the module is
phpdoc).
Take a look at phpdoc/en/reference/sdo/examples.xml in CVS
(http://cvs.php.net/viewvc.cgi/phpdoc/en/reference/sdo/examples.xml?revision=1.2&view=markup),
this is basically what we would love to see for all extensions.
If you need any help getting started, feel free to mail
phpdoc@lists.php.net with your questions, or join us on IRC at
#php.doc (EFNet).
