Due to the reference structure the MySQLi documentations have been
reworked to use OO syntax. http://php.net/mysqli.query
therefore works
fine.
I'll look into getting the procedural search working again.

In short, if one goes to http://www.php.net and search for
'mysqli_query' into the function list, they don't get any result if the
query is redirected to the italian servers (it.php.net/it2.php.net).
They get the "Sorry, but the function mysqli_query is not in the online
manual" message.
UK servers experienced a similar issue, too.
