Yes. That would be excellent approach.
Then, if discussion was needed around a ticket then raise it here.
Otherwise, attaching a patch to the ticket or submitting a PR for
review would be fantastic if you'd like to work on the issues
yourself.

Please open the ticket and read through the comments. You'll see the
most up2date status.
