Are you talking about http://php.net/mailing-lists.php ?
Yes that should work.. Which ticket did you find indicating it didn't?
When you say you try to do something and that 'something' has over 12
different methods of execution, it is difficult to understand the
problem and 100% impossible to fix, all I can do (as I did) was
suggest a very concrete and step by step instructions to achieve what
you want.
Who knows. Maybe you tried that method, but wrote the wrong address.
Hence my copy&pastable instructions.
