ID: 45171 Updated by: philip@php.net Reported By: peter dot bex at solide-ict dot nl -Status: Open +Status: Closed Bug Type: Website problem Operating System: N/A PHP Version: Irrelevant -Assigned To: +Assigned To: philip New Comment: The check has "temporarily" been disabled so comments like these will simply get through now. I'm fairly certain the new bug system (being worked on now) will handle this differently. And this change will show up online in about an hour. Thank you for the report :) Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2008-06-04 11:57:22] peter dot bex at solide-ict dot nl Description: ------------ When replying to a bugreport I sent, filling in my email address and clicking 'submit', it redirects me to the 'welcome back' page, which allows me to edit the bugreport. This is in itself acceptable behaviour, however, the comment simply vanishes. The system doesn't tell me anything to indicate what happened to my comment. I have to type it in again in its entirety (somehow firefox didn't store it either when clicking "back") and click submit again, now also providing a password. This is a very bad user interface. It also says something about "click on the 'add comment' link above", but once you get redirected to that page, that link also disappears! Reproduce code: --------------- Go to any bugreport you've sent in, click 'add comment', fill in the same email address you typed in when creating the bug and watch your bugreport disappear with no message or anything whatsoever to indicate what happened. Expected result: ---------------- Best would probably be to just carry over the filled in comment to the form on the page you get redirected to. Actual result: -------------- Everything gone ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Edit this bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=45171&edit=1
