Are you on some local network or other type of firewall that could potentially block the site? Thinking about it, the DNS may be pointing to the wrong IP address. I was successful in getting to the site via a US proxy. Places like isup.me and isitdownrightnow.com agree, and I can get to it using australia-proxy.com. DNS timeout? Request timeout?
