Please do not forget to update the feed
element. Many aggregators/feed readers simply (correctly) ignore any updates to the file if that element isn't updated. the ./bin/createNewsEntry does that automagically for you. -Hannes On Fri, Aug 1, 2008 at 08:52, Lukas Smith <lsmith@php.net> wrote: > lsmith Fri Aug 1 06:52:36 2008 UTC > > Modified files: > /phpweb/archive 2008.xml > Log: > - added php 5.3 alpha1 announcement > > > http://cvs.php.net/viewvc.cgi/phpweb/archive/2008.xml?r1=1.45&r2=1.46&diff_format=u > Index: phpweb/archive/2008.xml > diff -u phpweb/archive/2008.xml:1.45 phpweb/archive/2008.xml:1.46 > --- phpweb/archive/2008.xml:1.45 Wed Jul 30 13:41:25 2008 > +++ phpweb/archive/2008.xml Fri Aug 1 06:52:36 2008 > @@ -11,6 +11,40 @@ >
>
>
> +
PHP 5.3 alpha1 released!
> + >
> +
> +
> +
> +
href="http://www.php.net/index.php#id2008-08-01-1" > rel="alternate" type="text/html"/> > +
href="http://www.php.net/archive/2008.php#id2008-08-01-1" > rel="via" type="text/html"/> > +
> +
xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> > +
The PHP development team is proud to announce the href="http://downloads.php.net/johannes/">first alpha > release (Windows binaries will appear in the next few days) of the upcoming minor version > update of PHP.
