Staging/Test Environment

Hello, We get companies offering up their servers to us pretty often and we say "no thanks we have enough mirrors per country". We don't have a server that will get deployed to, that won't hit production. I'm wondering if we can have a "test" branch that a new server can pull from? Or an existing server with an additional vhost, for "test.php.net" for example? Ideally a git commit hook for it to pull on each commit. Thoughts? Many thanks, Paul
