From: teo8976 at gmail dot com Operating system: PHP version: Irrelevant Package: Website problem Bug Type: Bug Bug description:no autocomplete results for function names that do exist Description: ------------ In the search box at the top-right of the screen at http://php.net, type "mysqli_real" as if you were going to search for "mysql_real_escape_string" Expected result: ---------------- The autocomplete should show a few clickable results: - mysqli_real_escape_string - mysqli_real_connect - mysqli_real_query All of these functions exist. They are aliases of MySQLi::real_escape_string() etc, but they do exist in the functional form. Also, if you do type the name blindly and correctly till the end, e.g. you type "mysqli_real_escape_string", and you hit Enter, the search engine does find the result and directs you to the relevant page: http://php.net/manual/en/mysqli.real-escape-string.php Hence, the autocomplete should suggest those results.
