The following mail describes at least one such case: https://marc.info/?l=php-internals&m=154682149320612&w=2 Although this specific case is visibly the result of excessive contempt, it is to be expected that developers of the PHP project, like all developers receiving reports from people they do not know, can find it difficult to evaluate a reporter's credibility, which is particularly problematic for bugs which they do not manage to reproduce. One way to ease evaluating a reporter's credibility would be to allow viewing all tickets reported (and ideally contributed to) by that reporter. This is somewhat possible already, but at least time-consuming. Please allow reporters to create an account on bugs.php.net.
