Problem with PHP modules php_session

Dear all,
I got this problem a few days ago:
- All my application using session module give an error
"Could not verify the session" when try to login through the login page.
- I checked the session files created when user login and
their mod is 000
- We tried to restart Apache and OS but it happen again
after a few weeks.
Could you please help me at this point? All assistance is appreciated.
By the way, I'm running Debian Etch, Apache 2, and PHP5
