Because "Sammy Davis" is trying to get onto a list on which he
doesn't deserve to be, and is trying to use the shortest route to get
there. Come on, coming right out and saying:
"However, Web Hosting Search would like to support your site
in some way and possibly get mentioned on your 'Thanks To' page."
Wow. So you build a website out of affiliate links to different
web hosting sites, "recommend" those sites (how else are people going
to know to click and let you get paid?), use less-than-preferable
marketing tactics to bring traffic there, and then expect to give us
some kind of half-assed article of your choice to get listed alongside
folks who have been giving and giving each year more than your site
may even make in a lifetime?
No offense, "Sammy," but you may want to get a few more years
behind the keyboard before writing your next proposal. Because while
you may not have intended it to be so, it's extremely offensive and
insulting to minimize the generosity and donations by the companies
before you, and to think you could be their equal by providing us with
a few blocks of text that will most likely try to push people back to
your site anyway.
Conversely, if that's *not* how you meant it, I'd certainly be
willing to take back my own words if convinced.... so how convincing
can you be?
