After careful consideration the team has ordered a Quad Core Xeon
E5520 running at 2.26GHz with 8GB of RAM and a 500GB HDD, running
VMware ESXi. They are giving you the choice of which operating
systems you want on it. They'll work from your original list and can
happily provide anything that's free.
They tell me it should arrive in about a week - then we'll set up and
turn over to you and your group to hammer on.
Please do let me know which OS's you prefer to have loaded up from the
get go - we can always adjust as we go along as well.
