The evening will start with a Career Workshop at 6:30: 1) Alex Kovalenko, Director of Operations from Kovasys (www.kovasys.com) will talk about writing good tech resumes, how to find a job, and salaries for Montreal and Toronto. 2) Joey DeVilla, a Developer Evangelist from Microsoft Canada, will talk about blogging for a living. At 8pm, the Demo Camp portion will begin where you can come in and demo code you’ve made! What is a Demo Camp exactly? A Demo camp is a series of 6-8 presentations that are like “Show and tell” for the developer community. The demo can be of your software, web application or project in action. It’s the only thing you’re allowed to show on the big screen — no slides allowed!
