Hello,
I am currently working on an IDE implementation which includes PHP (not
commercially). For the purpose of auto-complete, code hinting and inline
help I need (obviously) accurate information, so I was thinking about
writing a small application to extract the functions and their description
from the PHP-documentation itself.
As I am studying the layout of the pages, I was wondering if this
documentation is maybe already maintained in a database? If you think about
it, it would make sense. It is much easier to maintain this kind of
technical detail in a database than it would be in pages.
So my question is this: Is the PHP function reference maintained in a
database, and if so, is it possible to acquire (a copy of) it?
Kind regards,
Peter
