Dear Conference / Meeting / Banquet Manager, Do you organise events for a just a few individuals or for many hundreds, even thousands? Then your venue is important to our research. Bournemouth University's School of Services Management is currently undertaking research, via a very short internet-based tick box survey, on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) within the UK conference sector. You do not need to disclose your name or that of your venue. CSR is defined as companies being accountable for their financial performance, as well as their impact on society and/or the environment (CBI, 2010), which is now directly impacting on the UK conference sector. The link below will open up a very short internet-based survey, indeed there are only 13 questions that need to be completed before submitting. The survey should take less than 10 minutes to complete. So whether you consider your venue to be large or small, your views are extremely valuable to our research. By taking this short amount of time out of your day, and providing this information will enable a much clearer picture of the extent of CSR as exhibited by the UK conference sector. Please click here to open the survey <https://taw.bournemouth.ac.uk/owa/redir.aspx?C=34e8c7d317ce4ef2a2449e999ec581b6&URL=http%3a%2f%2fspreadsheets.google.com%2fviewform%3fformkey%3ddGJXS1RUTzV0dmtFd1p5eW5RVEFYY1E6MA> Apologies if you have already completed the questionnaire, as it is entirely anonymous we are unable to see who has and who hasn't. The response rate has been positive, but in order to get an accurate picture of the UK conference sector we do still need further responses. Results are aggregated, with no individual venue being identified, therefore all responses are treated in the strictest of confidence and anonymity is assured. As stated, you do not need to disclose your name or that of your venue. Once again I thank you for your time, and I do hope that you can complete the survey. On behalf of Bournemouth University's School of Services Management, I thank you, and very much hope that you can spare just 10 minutes to complete the survey.
