Yes, we would mind, but we'll reply anyway.

The phpBB Team is proud to announce Libertyvasion, a New York City based
conference centering around all things phpBB. The phpBB Development
Workshop taking place on Friday 20th focuses on Git, Symfony and
Doctrine with guests (David Soria Parra, Stefan Koopmanschap, Fabien
Potencier, Jonathan Wage) from each community. It is followed by the
main conference on Saturday 21st with many speakers from the phpBB
community and a social event in the evening.
Unquote.
While the conference is probably going to be great for those in
attendance, and we recognize some of the names there, it's not a PHP
conference. It's phpBB. In fact, you even mentioned technologies
such as Git, Symfony, and Doctrine specifically, but still no mention
of PHP. It's not a PHP event, so it's not going to be permitted on
the PHP calendar of events.
