Hi *PHP-WebMaster(s)*,
*Q. What I want to know?*
*Answer.*
I'm trying to add PHP support to my created 'Web Server'...* it's ABK
SiteHoster*
h t t p : / / sourceforge . net / projects / sitehoster /
{link is like this b'coz it was failing otherwise suggesting it to be spam}
Currently, I just added "cmd> php fileName.php" to it. Which just returns me
converted Markup Langauge form of script.
Now, I'm confused about passing on the information about data sent along
GET/POST/... user request and Session Variables to PHP.
Could anyone inform me how this is handled in other servers or what
feature/parameter of PHP allows me to do so.
*Q. What I think?*
*Answer.*
May be read entire script... place the data wherever script is using it and
then send that modified script to PHP-CLI.
Is it the only way... is there a simpler way, more handled on PHP-side.
{I'm looking for this info online, but if someone could suggest me some
link/resource... it would be great.}
*Q. Why am I developing a new Web Server, when there are already so many?*
*Answer.*
*"Let Web Security Be Served By Web Server", don't make it a headache of Web
Developer.*
I'm a security enthusiast and developer who is trying to build a Web Server
secured from ground level.
The idea behind it is that all Web-developers are not aware security
measures in development.
Those who are aware are not always careful enough to integrate security
measures .
There are so many frameworks and add-ons available and used for
web-development that you can't guarantee all of them for all their actions
to be robust.
So, here what I'm trying to create is a Web server... which is itself
capable enough of preventing (bad) users/hackers to attack any
web-application.
Currently I've a concept to stop XSS and SQL-Injection based attacks.
I've a web-server ready supporting HTTP v1.1 partially just for simplest GET
Request/Response where browser generate a GET request for any WebPage or any
binary file {in the released version, version under test is a bit ahead}.
And that file is served to be displayed in browser or download as per the
file features are.
Currently, I'm working on implementing 'XSS-Patch' and 'PHP support' to it.
