Probably a lot of stuff. For starters, two things:
1.) You wrote to the wrong list. This is a webmaster list for
discussion regarding the php.net website. Instead, you should contact
either (or both) of the General and/or Install mailing lists for help.
You can subscribe to those at http://php.net/mailinglists
.
2.) Your report, as it stands, is useless (no offense --- it's
meant to be helpful criticism). You'll need to let the folks on those
lists (or your choice of support channel) know a lot more of the
details. Specifically:
a.) What operating system are you using?
b.) Did you *install* PHP, or just download it and wait
for the magic?
c.) What version of PHP did you download? (There are four
official minor branches and multiple release versions for each.)
d.) Did you get any errors?
e.) What are the other details of your setup? (i.e. - web
server and version, etc.)
