Edit report at http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=52639&edit=1 ID: 52639 Updated by: kalle@php.net Reported by: nate dot eckstine at seattle dot gov Summary: FAQ is outdated -Status: Re-Opened +Status: Open Type: Bug -Package: Documentation problem +Package: Website problem Operating System: windows 2008 server- 64 bit PHP Version: 5.3.3 Block user comment: N New Comment: The Windows 98 and WinNT references should remain as the older versions of PHP thats still documented in the manual supports them (even PHP 5.2.x supports Windows 98). The Thread Safety issue can be debated, so changed to a website issue instead Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2010-08-19 11:30:59] rquadling@php.net Sorry. These are probably deprecated years ago. And what does thread safe versus non thread safe mean in your download instructions. I suspect I know, but I see nothing noting the nomenclature on the site. most windows downloads don't mention this. They say either 32 bit or 64 bit ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Edit this bug report at http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=52639&edit=1
