Hi I have similar problems.
I am using the php_oci8.dll from download.swwwing.com. PHP4 will not load it
but says:
PHP Fatal error: Unable to load dynamic library 'php_oci8.dll'
The specified procedure could not be found. in Unknown on line 0
I got it working on a different machine.
Could you send me your oci8.dll file, so that I can try it with that one to.

I'm testing php4 (cgi version) on IIS4 with oci8 extension (that I
compiled today)
I have two problems can anyone HELP me please:
1.
I am able to connect and retreive data from oracle BUT the php.exe never
ends even if I make a call to exit() in my php script ???
2.
I actually can not connect using alias in tnsnames.ora, I had to use an
environment variable bound to my ORACLE_SID
putenv("ORACLE_SID=db1");
$conn = ocilogon("tigger","scott","");
That is not really a good idea since my instance will not always be on
the same machine as my web server
