The java applet should be cached on the client PC after the first load. (If i
understand your question that you want to avoid reloading the applet..) But you
must refresh the whole page. Or why not have the applet open its own URL to
grab data, that way you could have a stock ticker or updating graph that
updates itself every 5 seconds. Pretty easy to do.
