I am trying to install PHP4.0 on a Win95 pc with
Apache1-3-12 installed. But my simple PHP script like
<? echo 'hello ?> is not working.
Here are the things I have tweeked but with out any
success:
1. Copied php.ini-dist to C:\windows as php.ini
2. In the Appache httpd.conf I enabled the line
AddType application /x-httpd-php3 .php3
You Need more than this line in you httpd.conf file
I use both php3 and php4 try something like this.
after you change these you have to restart apache
ScriptAlias /php3/ "c:/php3/"
ScriptAlias /php/ "c:/php4/"
Action application/x-httpd-php3 "/php3/php.exe"
Action application/x-httpd-php "/php/php.exe"
AddType application/x-httpd-php3 .php3
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php
AddType application/x-httpd-php3 .phtml
AddType application/x-httpd-php3-source .phps
Still nothing works, I save my script using .php3,
.php also changed the tag from <? to <?php and of no
use.
Any help is appreciated.
