new window with set size via php ?

Hi everyone, does anyone know if one can open a browser window with a specific size from within a php script ? I mean achieve something like what javascript can do via including the following onclick="window.open('testpage.html','test','width=480,height=400');" in an <a href=" .... > tag ? I'd like to use this on a page with links to studies and articles which I would like to open in a separate browser window with a set size from where also the articles can be printed easily in a "clean format" ...
