i use apache 1.3.12 on windows2000 with php3 and php4 cgi-version. IMPORTANT: THIS IS FOR DEVELOP ONLY here is a small guide: 1. download the following: apache 1.3.12 win32 binary from www.apache.org php3 win32 build from www.php.net php4 win32 build from www.php.net 2. install apache 3. extract php3 archive to [apacheroot]\cgi-bin\php3 extract php4 archive to [apacheroot]\cgi-bin\php4 4. rename the *.ini-dist to *.ini and leave the ini-files in its php-directory! 5. modify in [apacheroot]\conf\httpd.conf: ServerName localhost AddType application/x-httpd-php3 .php3 AddType application/x-httpd-php4 .php4 .php Action application/x-httpd-php3 /cgi-bin/php3/php.exe Action application/x-httpd-php4 /cgi-bin/php4/php.exe and remember don't forget to set ExecCGI to your webdir. i.e. <Directory "c:/program files/apache group/apache/htdocs"> Options All MultiViews AllowOverride All Order allow,deny Allow from all </Directory> CodeDuck
