installation help

I just tried to install php on my Microsoft PWS (Windows 98 SE) and I can't get it to work. I followed the instructions, though I don't think they were very clear. Here's what I did: - Unzipped the zip file into C:\Program Files\php\ - Put MSVCRT.DLL and PHP4TS.DLL in C:\Windows\System\ - Changed php.ini-optimized to php.ini and put it in C:\Windows\System\ - Edited and merged the .reg file into my registry - Checked "Execute" for the <Home> virtual directory in PWS I tried to view the following simple php3 file in IE: <html> <head> <title>PHP Test</title> </head> <body> <?php echo "Hello World<P>"; ?> </body> </html> and nothing appeared in the browser.
