RE: [PHP-WIN] MySQL on Windows with PHP4

You'll need to download the application MySQL from www.mysql.com. The binary distribution is available for windows there. Only the debug version is availablve and you can only use it for thirty without a license fee for Win32 (at least last time I checked.) PHP comes with support for MySQL compiled in (i.e. you don't need the dynamic modules to connect to a MySQL database). -Flint > -----Original Message----- > From: Jobarr [mailto:jobarr@herzeleid.com] > Sent: Thursday, July 27, 2000 6:19 PM > To: php-windows@lists.php.net > Subject: [PHP-WIN] MySQL on Windows with PHP4 > > > I've got php4 installed as well as apache 1.3.12 on windows 98 > > I can't seem to get MySQL to work...PHP 4.0.1pl2 says it has MySQL > support built in.
