I'm sorry jason, wasn't able to reply-to-all. so here it is again. and no,
i didn't have problems with IE. although, you should list your IP address
or domain name in the "bypass proxy server for this addresses" if you are
using proxy.
#reply to previous email (without the R>s)
together with the compressed file, mod_php4-4.0.1-pl2.zip, at the URL below,
are 3 files.
the readme (instructions on how to use inside),
the dll file, mod_php4.dll, which you should place inside the modules
directory of apache,
and the mod_php4.conf file, which you should place in the conf dir of your
apache installation.
if you have followed the readme file, and you still cant get it to work,
check your httpd.conf file and find the line
ResourceConfig conf/srm.conf
uncomment the line if it is commented.
what i did was cut and paste the text of the mod_php4.conf file into my
htttpd.conf (below the other Loadmodule lines) and
add the dll file into my modules dir and voila!
(The mod_php4.conf file)
LoadModule php4_module modules/mod_php4
php_admin_flag log_errors on
php_admin_value error_log logs/mod_php4.log
<FilesMatch ".*\.(php4|php3|php)$">
ForceType application/x-httpd-php
</FilesMatch>
it's working on my win98se, php4 (as module), apache, and mysql.
also, thanks for all the friendly people in this mailing list
and thanks for the win32-php4-module people. what you did was simply great!
