Thanks.
I don't have any compiling tools on my win2k box (the NT4 was a virtual
machine for testing to see if my win2k box was fubar'd)... must be time to
reformat and install linux :)
Would any windows compiling tools work or does it require Visual Studio?
Borland had a while back that were command line only...
Oh well.

it should be noted again that the Apache2 module for php4 is still
experimental... if you want to use the most recent version of Apache2
you may need to rebuild the SAPI module from source.
This is pretty dang messy in windows compared to *nix, but the standard
php manual has a pretty good section in the Getting Started /
Installation section on rebuilding from source on windows.
If you're familiar with Visual Studio you should be ok... otherwise you
will quickly notice gaps in the documentation where the authors make a
few assumptions about what the reader should know.
you'll be interested in the src/win32/php4ts.dsw workspace, and the
src/sapi/apache2filter/php4apache2.dsp project.
good luck!
