Upgrading to Apache2 and PHP4.2

I'm needing to upgrade to Apache2 and PHP 4.2 on a win2k box. I'm needing to
know how stable are the interactions between the two? I can't have the site
down to deal with fickle errors. So my question is basically: Are the two
sufficiently stable right now? or should I just wait for now?
