mysqldump in php-scripting

I'd like to know if is possible to run a mysql script (the one dumped for backup reasons) through a php page. My problem is that I don't telnet access to the Mysql database and function exec doesn't work(for security reasons probably). So, is it difficult to use a php-script to restore back my dumpt database? Thank you in advance for your time and sorry for the geek questions, crizz
