I've successfully built PHP.EXE and some of the DLLs. It's not very hard even for a VC++ newbie like myself. Unfortuantly the FTP DLL that I built returns the same errors that the one from download.swwwing.com. I wish I had a solution to offer, but until somebody higher up the PHP food chain fixes the Windows build I guess we are stuck. In the past I had much better success with PHP under Linux than Windows. That's not an option for me now, and it may not help you, but if you *can* use PHP under Unix I suggest you give it a shot.
